Use Fuzzbucket from your AI assistant
Understand what MCP is, what the Fuzzbucket connector lets an AI assistant do, and how credits and permissions work.
Last reviewed October 15, 2026
You can work with Fuzzbucket without opening Fuzzbucket. Connect it once to an AI assistant you already use, such as Claude or ChatGPT, and then ask that assistant to look up your brands, draft content, or generate media in plain language.
The technology that makes this possible is called MCP. You do not need to understand it to use it, but the short version helps.
What MCP means
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. Think of it as a universal plug: an AI assistant that supports MCP can connect to many different apps the same way, as long as each app offers an MCP connector.
Fuzzbucket offers one. When you add it to your assistant and sign in, the assistant can use your Fuzzbucket account on your behalf, but only in the ways you allow.
What your assistant can do
Once connected, you can ask your assistant to:
- list your brands and read the brand context saved for them;
- open a workspace and describe what is on its Canvas;
- create or edit drafts on the Canvas without generating anything;
- generate images, video, audio, or text with the models available to you;
- chat with the workspace orchestrator and answer its questions;
- check progress on a generation, then preview or download the result.
In assistants that support interactive previews, such as Claude, finished images, video, and audio can appear right inside the conversation.
Example requests
You talk to your assistant normally. For example:
- "Which brands do I have in Fuzzbucket?"
- "Open my spring campaign workspace and summarize what is on the Canvas."
- "Draft three Instagram captions for the new product, using my brand voice."
- "Generate a square product photo for the launch post, then show me the result."
Your assistant decides which steps to take. Most assistants ask you to approve an action before it changes your account or spends credits.
Credits and permissions
The connector acts as you. It follows your plan, trial, and credit limits, and it can only reach the brands and workspaces your account can access.
- Reading information, saving drafts, and downloading results do not spend credits.
- Chat with the orchestrator and generation spend credits exactly as they do in the app.
- When you connect, you choose the access level: Read only, Create and edit, or Full access. Only Full access can generate or spend credits.
- You can limit the connection to selected brands instead of all of them.
You can disconnect an assistant at any time. See Manage connected assistants and tokens.
Privacy
The connector only reads the account data needed for each request, such as the brand, workspace, or asset the assistant asks about. Fuzzbucket does not receive your assistant conversation history. Your assistant's provider handles the conversation under its own terms.
